The kindergarten program of Alpha-Bits is designed to capture your child's interest in a variety of subjects. We begin with letter recognition and letter-sound association to provide the foundation your child needs to become a confident reader by the end of the year! We also incorporate a math program which focuses on a variety of math concepts such as estimation, addition, subtraction, time, and money.
There is a different science theme each month designed to spark children's interest in the world around them; some of our science units include dinosaurs, outer-space, plants, insects, healthy bodies, and ocean life.
In social studies, we learn about each other and celebrate every child with their own "special day" which gives us a chance to practice public speaking and learn about your unique family.
